About Dr. Baron Harper, MD

Dr. Harper is board-certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery and is a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons. With more than two decades of professional experience, Dr. Harper is able to perform complex cardiac operations such as valve repairs and replacement, aortic vascular surgery and coronary bypass. Dr. Harper also performs electrophysiologic surgery, including the Cox-Maze procedure for atrial fibrillation, and angina pain control operations with transmyocardial revascularization. He also performs resection of lung tumors and minimally invasive lung surgery.
