Dr. Edwin Lee - Presbyterian Hospital Dr

Dr Lee has been my cardiologist for around 4-5 years. He is kind, relaxing, thoughtful, and thinks holistically about my health. His office is efficient, and his assistant Jamila is a dream partner. Always responsive and gets things done. I cannot recommend your heart health to Dr Lee and his office. Excellent!!!

Professional, personable and caring, Dr. Edwin Lee is a role model for how modern medicine should be practiced. Each time I've been at Hollywood Presbyterian for various tests/procedures, Dr. Lee has visited me, asked my status, answered my questions attentively, been caring, and even brought the warmth of humor, much needed in a hospital situation. Likewise, in his office, where his staff (Yamila, Matt, etc) follow his positive lead, Dr. Lee takes the time to listen and explain. A true gentleman, and trusted practitioner.

Awful. Jamella or Jamila, Yamila, To be fair this is NOT for the doctor. She made a decision for the doctor stating that we were not a right fit all because SHE pressured me into not getting a referral, and probing me about calling my insurance because she knows PPO's never covered 100 percent. I NEVER asked if my insurance covered 100 percent at all. I kept telling her I only wanted to know if you take my insurance, its fine I'll get a referral and call you right back. She like a grandmother who thinks she's helping when she's not, just making the sitiuation worse and NOT listening. She literally said I dont know your fincancial situation so I dont want any issues. HUH???? So now we're profiling via voice on a phone. you're assuming I can't pay!? how rude and disrespectful. My ONE question do you accept my insurance as soon as she said yes I said well I have a referral I'm going to get my director to make it out directly for him and I'll give you a call back. She wouldn't let me go everything after that was HER wanting to help but she just wound up being a hinderance. and making decisions for Dr. Edwin Lee should be against the law. He is a DR even more important a cardiologist!!! Saving lives! How dare you/Jamila get in the way of that!? Especially when it was of YOUR own projecting! but what I KNOW is that I dodge a bullet! I will go where my kind ARE respected and care for.

Dr. Lee and his assistant Yamila saved my father's life. Dr. Lee provided sound and consistent guidance for my father's major heart issue. He and Yamila went to extraordinary lengths to assist in his pre and post surgical care, along with help with the many insurance, leave documents, etc., and continue to monitor his health today. He is very responsive by phone and email. Very knowledgeable about addressing the cardiac implications due to diabetes, high blood pressure, age, etc.

I've been a patient since 2019. Very professional and honest cardiologist. Very straightforward and approachable. Dr Lee and his staff go the extra mile to help patients and they have with me as a patient.
