Alexander P. Ford, MD

Staff is great. Dr Ford needs to realize he is too old to mentally process what his patients say and is in turn very rude and shuts his patient's down rather than listening. Also it has been over a week no has called to explain my lab results.

The staff are really sweet and nice but Dr. Ford himself needs to work on his professionalism. I took my elderly, blind, special needs friend to an appointment there and Dr. Ford treated his situation with little sympathy or sensitivity. My friend has poor eyesight and trouble dressing himself but Dr. Ford for some reason found is necessary to comment on his appearance and tell him he looked like he "came in off the street". Totally unprofessional for a doctor to say. Even if he had come in from the street it doesn't mean your patient is undeserving of care and compassion. Seemed like some kind of petty power move, which is not something you want in a doctor.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Alexander Ford today, and it was an excellent experience. Dr. Ford is very nice, attentive, and made me feel comfortable right away. The staff is incredibly efficient, warm, and welcoming, making the visit even more pleasant. I highly recommend Dr. Ford and his wonderful team!

Could not imagine a worse experience at a medical office. They tried to charge me $200 after Ford rudely shrugged me off when I had a necrotic spider bite, saying "never seen that before, good luck." I told them I'd prefer them send a creditor over paying them a cent. This was a few years ago but I waited to review as a family member still went here. They've since changed primaries, so here we are. Avoid at any cost!

My family has seen Dr. Ford for the last 20+ years. I appreciate that his office doesn't seem like a factory, which many dr offices do these days. Love his no nonsense approach to medicine.
