Memorial Heart Institute | Long Beach Memorial Medical Center

Came in today at 9am and went into the admissions office, and the black female was at the desk with so much negative attitude wheb I had ask how many people were a head of us she replied with "there's appointments ahead of u" again I asked "ok but how many people are a head of us?" Again she replied "the appointments go before u, ur not an appointment " again I replied "ok but how many people in front of us"...this woman wasn't helpful. Couldn't answer my question instead repeated herself thinking she was answering it but she wasn't. I believe she is unacceptable of doing her simple job and should be resigned asap for there are patients here who are trying to meet their appointments on time and need real help when asking questions. This is not my first time not my first hospital. This experience has been the worst from all that I have gone to. I will be coming back to this hospital and I will continue posting the experience here till she is resigned.

They should have their visitor requirements posted online!! I looked on their website before going, and when me brother and I got there to see our dad we needed masks (which I had) ID & Covid 19 vacation record. (Luckily I had all these, but my brother didn't and had to call home to get a copy sent to him) but worst of all they said only 1 visitor at a time with max 2 visitors daily. Also we weren't told! I only had about 2 min. And then my brother traded visiting time. We both live in OC, different cities and it's a long way to drive and not be able to have a nice visit with our dad!!

One of the nurses wasn't careful and bumb my newborn on the corner rail of the bed where my ex-wife was resting in. My. NEW. BORN! Didn't apologize but, said " She'll be ok" while my baby was crying loudly.

This hospital is a joke. I came in at 12pm. It is now 7:45pm and still waiting.
