Very through doctor and had great bed side manners. My daughter is a teenager and he listened to her complaints and took them valid and not dismiss her. He figured out what is going on with her when other doctors haven't been able too. Very good experience.
Dr.Tan is incredible! He first saw our son at the hospital right when he was born, since he needed to examine his heart after they had found a shadow on his tricuspid valve during my 36 week ultrasound. Dr. Tan explained everything clearly to us and helped us understand what was happening. We just had our follow up with Dr. Tan with our 3 month old son and once again he was very thorough and explained everything very well to us. He was so great with our son too and he was smiling a bunch! We didn't have to wait long either for him after the cardiogram and EKG were done to explain the results to us. Thank you so much Dr. Tan for helping us feel at ease and for giving our son such great care!

I recently had my valve replaced at Long Beach Memorial. Dr. Tan was the doctor who practically extended my life. He was very thorough with me throughout the entire process. He didn't leave out any information and was very detailed with the procedure. He made sure that I wouldn't go into this surgery blind. I would love to thank him (and the team at Long Beach Memorial) for the care they provided during my recovery.
Dr. Tan is seriously the best. I am so grateful we had him as our doctor for my little guy. If you're considering him please do it. He is kind, honest, explains everything in great detail and does not make you feel rushed. He doesn't treat pts like they are just a number he treats them as if they are family. 10/10 thank you Dr Tan appreciate you more than you'll ever know. Also Susan was kind, fast and handled business during the echo. Definitely would recommend. The LVN was kind and is great with kids. Dr. Tan ,To the front desk and all of his staff couldn't be more thankful. Thank you all.
