My husband had been suffering with severe tri-cuspid regurgitation for years. Was not a candidate for the conventional valve replacement (open heart procedure ) So, When the new method(Transcatheter Tricuspid Valve Replacement) became available the Edwards Evoque system, he had it performed . This was in November of 2025. Dr. Mohsen and his team are without any doubt the most compassionate and informative physicians and extremely skillful. There are many cardiologists that are wonderful and qualified doctors that may not practice at a teaching facility and may not be completely aware of the wonderful and life saving procedures that are available to their ailing patients. Do your self a favor as the patient or do it for your loved one and enquire and ask for a second opinion at Loma Linda Hospitals heart institute and be seen by these wonderful structural cardiologists. It has been a little over three weeks since my husbands surgery and his recovery and well being has greatly improved.

Dr Mohsen, is truly a brilliant cardiologist who was super confident and successful in solving my dad's frightening problem of a very difficult leaky mitral stenosis valve. He successfully implanted the PASCAL mitral clip, and my dad being the first patient to get this new technology treatment, I can clearly see that he is at top of his field !! Dr. Mohsen takes the time to explain everything in detail without using confusing medical jargon . Communicating with him feels like communicating with a family member, making us feel comfortable and relaxed . Dr. Mohsen and his entire team took great care of my dad and were super supportive, kind and helpful. I would recommend him in a heartbeat!

When I was diagnosed with a leaky heart valve. After the repair surgery I thought I would be on blood thinners 4 the rest of my life. It was costly and the bruising was horrid. Then a friend introduced me to a proceedure where basically a plug keeps blood clots from passing into the heart. Enter the Watchman. My little hero. I had the surgery and got off the blood thinner. What a wonderful thing, it's good 4 life. My imagination sees a tiny elf like being standing guard 24/7. Now all that's left to do is give it a proper name! Another perk is my fib has calmed down.
