Have had good experiences with Dr Donner for over a decade, however I can no longer recommend him or anyone else in the office as a doctor to anyone. I have been trying to get someone on the phone at the office for 1.5 weeks now to get a prescription refill. I leave voicemails but never get a call back, my pharmacy leaves voicemails and faxes and never gets a response. There is no way to speak with a live person. I am walking in there today to try and get my prescription before my medication runs out. Completely unacceptable management of a doctor's office.

I could not be more frustrated with SMG gastroenterology! I had one apt with Dr Donner without issue but since then have called and called and cannot get anyone to pick up or call me back. This has been going on for about 4 weeks now. 2 weeks ago I went into the office and spoke to someone in the front who said they'd call me....but that if I didn't hear I could call and hit number 1 which is what Drs offices pick....so I did that several times and it just rings out so even other medical offices can't get through! A few days ago I called and asked for a different Drs office and they said Dr Donner is leaving and that they would get the office of a different Dr to call.....as of now no call. I've lost patience and will be finding a new location.

Services are on par with other providers. But VERY difficult to get through to the office to schedule an appointment - even after waiting the 2 business days the recording says to allow.

Tracey from the billing dept was very rude on the phone and show no patience to the patient. First she asked my account number, since I do not have it on hand, I ask if I could provide my name instead, she became very impatient, I had very pleasant experience with the doctors and staff there, however, Tracey is just horrible.

I loved and adored Dr Shields. Him and his assistant Lisa saved my life after having a bad experience with other doctors at an urgent care. Unfortunately Sr Shields got a new assistant named Swasti I think. She is awful. Never listens to messages, talks over you. Just absolutely terrible. I can't handle the anxiety of dealing with her so I have stopped seeing Dr Shields. I am no longer getting medical help . This woman should be banned from any healthcare facility! She ruined everything for me. I am so sad that I can no longer go see my Dr who has been the greatest gift to me in life
