Cheng-Han Chen, MD

Dr. Chen is very knowledgeable, professional and compassionate. He is my mother's cardiologist and his attention to details is beyond imagination. He has helped my mother post her heart failure moving forward and improved her heart conditions. Dr. Chen has monitored my mother's heart thru eco cardiograms and regular visits and made sure that she is getting better everyday. Our sincere appreciation to Dr. Chen and the entire staff in his offices! Thanks again for all of your efforts and your kindness! I definitely recommend Dr. Chen for other patients with heart problems

I went to PCA this morning for follow up Echo Cardiogram. I received a call from Dr. Chen my cardiologist this afternoon. He went over results of the cardiogram. Same day service. Awesome. Load off my mind. All good. Thank you PCA and Dr. Chen

I was referred to Dr. Chen and met with him on May 23, 2025. He was incredibly helpful and thorough in explaining the procedure that I needed. He explained everything in detail. He listened to my concerns and made me feel at ease. He was very attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The office staff was also very helpful and friendly with great commutation with me. I worked with Jana. She listened carefully to my concerns and answered all my questions with patience and clarity. She went above beyond. She kept in close contact with me. I highly recommend Dr. Chen. He is the BEST!

My mother (90 yrs old) is a pt of dr Chen....he is wonderful but his support staff, scheduling and everyone who handles folllowups are the most incompetent group of individuals I have ever dealt with!!! My mother had a video appt around aug 14,2025 with dr Chen at which time her heart rate was dropping below 40 at the emergency room, this was a follow up appointment regarding this concern..he told her she needed an echo and heart monitor..he stated his office would contact us the following Monday..appt was on a Friday, this appt was never entered into there system, as a result no one from his office ever called us, no requests were sent to the insurance company. I then spent the next month and a half trying to get these appts scheduled I called at least 25 times trying to reach someone to help me, it became a joke and extreme frustration!!!!! I complained to monarch and scan multiple times which was just as frustrating because u can't reach the office (dr Chens) and when u do get someone they transfer to numbers that just go to voicemail and no one calls u back or disconnect u or tell u they can't schedule an appt with the dr because u haven't been seen in over a year per the nurse triage line (because our appt was never put in the system) and then u go back into the scheduling loop which is where I started!!! U then hit the callback button only to not get a return call. I spoke to a few people who I explained the situation to and they sent msgs to the persons who would help me only to never get a call back!!! I would stay very far away from this office and any dr at this practice because they all share the same support staff!! This office is Pacific Cardiovascular Associates they have many offices throughout Orange County. Good luck!!!

Dr. Chen has taken me under his wing as my primary care physician has retired. I really like his professionalism while at the same time he obviously cares about me. I highly recommend him and the entire group who have taken care of me for two years.
