I hate to write a negative review because my interactions with everyone else there are great. My only complaint is about how rude Dr.Chuang is. Every appointment I have with him I feel like he's in a hurry to get me out and as if he is bothered by me asking questions regarding my upcoming surgery. Today was it for me. He completely dismissed my concerns. He stated that he was "running around" and regardless of how busy anyone is he could've extended some common courtesy. When I was asking questions about scheduling and possibly waiting a few months due to upcoming events, he was quick to tell me that he would just cancel my surgery and that I will have to start the entire process all over again and it would take months and months. Totally dismissive. He made a comment about it being a "waste of time" if I continue to question when I should schedule . Then he told me to schedule the surgery and said that I'd be able to type the very next day after carpal tunnel surgery. Which I find extremely bothersome that a doctor would tell me that. Making my surgery seem like it was not a big deal. I will definitely be changing doctors.
Had knee replacement on 7/30/25. 2 night at Mission Hills Hospital in Tustin was unpleasant. Nurses didn't know how to insert IV for antibiotic drip. Other patient in room was too noisy. Suggestion: staples removal is obscenely painful! Pure torture! There's got to be a better or easier way to remove 36 staples from knee surgery As far as Dr. Gao, he's great and caring. He did a Great job w my surgery. Thank you!!!
