I had the worst experience today at the doctor office. I've been taking pain medication for around 15 years and unfortunately my pain management is no longer seeing patients. He moved on to something different so now I'm struggling with getting a New pain management but the big problem is I have an appointment with the New pain management and they canceled on me for later date And said I need to go to my primary so they could prescribe me my pain medication for now, so I made an appointment For a refill of my pain medication and the doctor that I saw today, which her name is in the business card was extremely rude and said there's no way she's going to fill my Prescription I explained to her I've been taking this medication like for 15 years and I was told I cannot go Cold turkey Plus, I suffer stiffness and pain and she did not care. Basically she said it's not her problem and she's not going to do anything for me. And according to her, she spoke to the manager supervisor there with her name is Kim And according to the doctor, Kim agrees with Doctor So now I'm going to run out of my pain medication and if anything happens to me, the responsible once will be the doctor And supervisor Kim, Now My primary doctor has been the same for easy over 10 years maybe even 15 years. I've been a patient. And this is how I was treated today I do plan to Report this and I repeat if anything happens to me The doctor is the responsible, I will be looking for a new doctor office, I regret recommending my primary doctor to my friends and loved once never again.

I have been going here since it was Descanso Family Practice (almost 20 years). Ever since Optum took over it is a complete joke. Hard to call the office directly, you get a call center. Messages to your doctor are ignored. Prescription refill requests are ignored. Twice I have been here where I have seen people march in furious that they haven't been able to reach anyone and they are out of their meds. The Dr turnover is high. If your dr leaves you are left floating in the ether, no one communicates. And most recently I was turned away because they wouldn't take my new insurance, even though they were listed as a provider and I had to select them to get insurance approval. Don't go here.

Dr. Pytak is an extremely kind and patient human being. He listens to all of my concerns and addresses all issues in detail. he takes his time and explains everything in simple and understandable terms. The staff members are all very kind. I highly recommend the facility.

This office has very caring doctors with a small town old school doctor feel to it. Have been coming to this doctor's office for about 40 years and love all the doctors great service and the nurses are very kind also and they know your family, how are the kids, what are they doing now. Very personal way with customers, especially Dr Peterson known him for years. We Recommended him to a friend 20 years ago and he's still going to him.

I just recently had an appointment with Dr. Peterson. I am pleased with choosing Optum as Dr. Peterson is knowledgeable, friendly, Answers my questions and really seems to care for his patients. I recommend choosing Dr. Peterson for your medical needs.
