Dr. Neil Goldstein, ABR certified with CAQ in Vascular Intervention, is an experienced interventional radiologist at Pedes Orange County. He completed his fellowship at UC Irvine and has been practicing academic interventional radiology since 2003. Dr. Goldstein specializes in vascular salvage for dialysis access, peripheral vascular disease, varicose vein treatments, interventional oncology, transplant interventions, uterine fibroid embolization, genicular artery embolization, and pelvic pain procedures for May-Thurner Syndrome and pelvic venous congestion. Dr. Goldstein has been very professional and informative regarding my husband's situations.
He has had two procedures outpatient done at the O.C. surgical center in the same building as Dr. Goldstein. The staff at the surgical center were excellent in regards to their knowledge and commitment to the patient as well.

Dr. G is the absolute best! He treated my grandmother last month. Before she went to see him, she was in bad shape- he fixed her leg and she is able to move around again and in no more pain! He was so patient with us during the whole process and treated her with some much care. The office is easy to find and the parking is so convenient. I'm so glad we found him- several other doctors told her she cold not be treated unless with surgery. He is a godsend :)

This was a very disappointing experience. I really enjoyed my appointments with Dr. Hewitt, but Dr. Goldstein absolutely ruined that for me. I will never go back to their office again. He has the worst bedside manner of any doctor I have spoken with and could not have cared less about what was going on in my life. He just called me fat multiple times and did not allow me to get a word in. The office staff also messes up quite often. So very disappointing, but I have already found another doctor so I don't have to rely on them. If I could give a ZERO I would. I was told by the office manager that I would receive a call from Dr. Hewitt to talk about my experience. It's been almost 2 weeks, and I have left 2 messages with no call back.
8-26-20 As a follow-up, I finally received a call from Dr. Hewitt. It is too bad that he is not the surgeon in the group. Very nice conversation and he said that Dr. Goldstein would give me a call because he is a good surgeon and I should give him a chance. I have now waited 3 full weeks for that call that never came. I called the office to find out why and was told by the office manager that Dr. Goldstein doesn't recall the conversation that way, so he is not going to call me. Not the way I would run an office I have to say. I am extremely disappointed that this doctor cannot admit what he did. So, now I wait again for a referral to another office. Hopefully someone learns something from this review and does not put their trust in a doctor who does not have the patient's best interest at heart.
