I was assigned this Doctor through the insurance adjuster. This was more than a year ago. I STILL haven't met him. He only scheduled me over the phone. When I do go in to see a tech, the front desk staff is extremely rude. No eye contact, hello, goodbye...nothing. I felt as if the scheduling for other appointments was a total bother to them. Then there is the condition of the office. If they dont care about how the office appears to the public, how can I have confidence in how they care for me? I secured future medical attention through another provider, and I am more at ease about their quality of care.

If you care about your hearts health, beware. I read the reviews before going but thought maybe something had changed. My fault. I lasted a 1.5 weeks with Dr Abid. Please note; I have a 'loop and record' so he gets paid by the brand to monitor me. After my Heart Attack, 3 stents and implant I was referred to him by my GP. I called, emailed then faxed his office to fill my heart meds. I would email my INR's (heart /blood test) to his office.... Then just yesterday was told they haven't recv'd any emails. When were they going to tell me? No response, I even drove to Indio and hand delivered the hospital papers with meds on it. Nope, nothing. Went 2 days without meds and today went to my GP to fill. Found a new cardiologist today. Me and my 'loop' will take our biz elsewhere. Is that even legal for a cardiologist to ignore a patients heart meds? Beware.

The communication and follow up communication between Dr and pt through an incompetent office is terrible. Highly recommend a different doctor especially if you have a high risk condition.

Dang. I wish I would have read the reviews first. I had a 9:30am telephone appointment. At 9:50, I called to see if maybe I made a mistake. They said "I will transfer you to Dr" I waited 5 more minutes and hung up. Just after 10 they called back and transfered me to Dr Abid. He asked how I am. I told him frustrated because he didnt call on time. He proceeded to justify by explaining how busy he is, because clearly he thinks I am not. I said " A simple, Im sorry for the inconvenience, would have been a fine response." Dr Abid said I should call my insurance company and go to another cardiologist. I said "Thank you for that. I will." Some of these people are so self important.....

Thanks to these cardiologist what started as something mild that he never addressed with me because he said it was not important and put me on BP medication, now I have full blown heart disease at 35, my heart problems started at 30 and he was always dismissive of my concerns I had to read the report to find out what the issue was. Stay away from him and never take what the cardiologist tell you in these valley, they get paid and judge on what type of insurance you have. Do your research and run from these facility !
