Patient
My grandmother has been going to this Dr for several years and it has been an ongoing nightmare. Dr requires patients with pacemakers to come in for their pacemaker check then a follow up appointment to go over results. This is just to charge the insurance for an office visit when results could be given over the phone. Plan to have 12 appointments a year-4 pacemaker check, 4 follow ups, 4 lab work. He also will not use other lab work that has been provided by primary care physicians. Mind you they are never on time for appointments, plan to wait! Staff has been hit and miss with kindness and being completely rude. When we arrived for an 8am appointment they didn't turn on the lights or anything, very unprofessional. They do not put the right codes in when requesting labs which leads to an additional $880 annually in fees due to laziness even when I have talked to management several times in regards to this and provided denials with the reasons. Every time I get the "ok next time we will change it" and the same thing happens. The last straw was him wanting to do an emergency surgery to replace a pacemaker after jumping through all these hoops to get the labs, EKG, pre-op visit, chest x-ray, etc he cancels the surgery after waiting at the hospital for hours due to claiming my grandmother is on blood thinners which she is not! Her med tech and primary care physician confirmed she does not take blood thinners.Whose chart was he reading??? Be careful with what Dr you choose!
