I have been meaning to write this review for a long time. Dr. Zarka is one of the two doctors in the field of many who actually cared whether I lived or died. I must explain that I was 49 years old when I had a massive heart attack that got severely misdiagnosed while I was at Hoag Hospital and I was sent home. I went through the system of cardiologists for 4 months who told me I'd be fine , just go home, don't stress, and put my feet up. I was so scared!!! I couldn't breathe and I knew I was dying. Imagine 4 months without being able to breath! I was finally sent to a heart surgeon, Dr. Afifi who told me to go see Dr. Zarka straight from his office. Dr. Zarka checked my ejection fraction which was at 25% and within a week I was in the hospital having a stent put in. Now, thanks to Dr. Zarka, I am a survivor. A very long road to recovery and lots of scar tissue on my heart and live with COPD but I am grateful to be alive to raise my 14 year old son.

this is one of the best doctors I have ever worked with and now as a patient he is excellent respectful and he saved my life.
