I have been his patient since 2006 and am one hundred percent satisfied! He takes good care of me and of my family members and friends whom I have referred to him. He cares. He is knowledge and medically aggressive with his evidence-based treatment regimen, and that is a very good thing. I hope he never retires. I highly recommend Dr. Nelson.

Dr Nelson himself is very knowledgeable and thorough. However, they try to squeeze everything they can get out of you. My office visits are $25 and that's what they charged me at the beginning of the year, then in November they tried telling me I had to pay $100 for a visit because my deductible wasn't met. Wrong!!! Just beware!

Dr. Nelson always spends time explaining any information needed and my health has improved dramatically from the time I began going to see him. His office always answers the phone with a live person, no recording. It's been a five star experience for me!

I am surprised to see some of the bad reviews. Dr. Nelson is the best doctor and I have talked to many doctors over the years due to my mother's healthy issues. He is so caring and takes his time to explain the test results and what can be done to prevent an issue rather than just putting on a bandaid. He orders all the necessary tests in order to get bottom of the issue. I can tell he is very passionate about what he does and truly cares about his patients' well being. He will advocate for you with the insurance company if they are not willing to approve prescriptions due to high cost. Thank you Dr. Nelson for all of your hard work. We feel blessed for having you as my mother's cardiologist.

Dr Nelson is very thorough and takes his job seriously. His top goal is to do everything he can to prevent you from having heart problems. And give you top notch care. He will run all tests necessary to rule things out and ensure he can clear you with a good bill of health. He answers all questions thoroughly. Conducts most tests right there in his office building including being able to get blood work right next door. He doesn't wait to read your test results. He reads them immediately and will call you personally before your follow up appointment if he has a concern. My only suggestion is that he also takes a card instead of just a check or cash.
