Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital

I had a gastric bypass surgery on March 20 2023. It was the greatest experience ever. I had the best team of nurses. They all wished together to get prep and ready to go. The place was beautiful, cleaned, and felt so relaxing. Dr. Ma did an excellent job. Thank you to all the staff for helping me get through this new journey. Today almost 2 years later I find myself back in this very friendly, beautiful place, But now for a different situation. I was taken by ambulance to fresno community hospital because I experienced some excruciating pain in my abdomen. I came to find out I had a huge gall stone that had really upset my gall bladder. I told them I had the weight loss and so they called FHSC and determined that my best best was to be transferred over here. I got here and what a heck of a difference peaceful and things happened fast. I am now recovering and should be going home soon. Best experience ever! great staff! Fabulous building!

I had surgery on 09/19 the gastric sleeve, my experience at this place was 1000000/10. I felt so well taken care of especially after such a serious surgery, the night shift staff was patient, helpful & caring. As for the building it is NICE, the recovery rooms are top tier & clean. I didn't want to leave lol I was cared for so well. lol My bariatric food they gave me was delicious, & they were on top of it making sure i got every meal. I HIGHLY recommend this place !

My family's experience at Fresno Heart Institute was outstanding. My 78-year-old blind father recently had a triple bypass, and the care he received was truly remarkable. The nurses and staff were so compassionate and attentive, but the person who really stood out was Dr. Khwaja. He is one of the best doctors I have ever met--his expertise and the way he treated my father were exceptional. The whole facility feels different from a typical hospital, and the level of care is excellent. P.S. The cafe is exceptional, and prices are also hard to beat.

I just had a thyroidectomy. It was my first time ever going under the knife, so I was very nervous but everyone there was welcoming and patient. Instructions, directions, explanations, introductions, and every pain I had questions about and experiencing were answered thoroughly. I felt safe to rest and recover in peace in the presence of the entire staff, knowing that someone was always watching over me and ready to ask if I was okay. I appreciated the privacy and space my family and I was allowed, because it made me understood down to my core, that I had a place there. I am very grateful to everyone who has turned this journey of mine, into a pleasant one. Thank you, truly.

I came here on 08/17/22 to get a COVID-19 test for my upcoming Heart Surgery on 08/19/22 at 1pm but I got here a little after that time but it was to be at 3:30pm but they got me in earlier so it was great! & Dr. Palaniswamy & his team was so freaking awesome!!! From the beginning to the end the check in was very fast & quick & the nurses that did the preparation work (checking vitals to shaving off the hair on me to getting me ready & dressed) & the meeting of the Anesthesia specialist that explained to me everything first before the surgery & another male nurse that help take me into the "Operating Room" it was great & everyone was so professional & caring & they all did their jobs very well & excellent!!! So I stayed overnight & the "ROOM" was very quiet & peaceful & it had everything you could want there was a nice view out of the window & a restroom with a shower & a & the bed was just right & a new TV with movies & music on it & so much more to watch! & so I got a breakfast the next day & a lunch also the food was very delicious & yummy!!! THANK YOU to all of the kitchen staff & to everyone else you made my stay very pleasant & may "God Bless" you all & your families for doing what you do here at Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital Amen!!! & what a Great Job! %+ & 's which is never enough!!!
