Dr. Pradeep Kumar, MD

Lacks follow through. Went in for a MRI and ultrasound. I needed to wait for a pre authorization but the front desk never called me to let me know it was approved. I had to call them. I scheduled the appointment and was told I'll get the results in a week. A month goes by and I call them and they told me the doctor is out of the country but can schedule an appointment now. Why couldn't they call me to schedule the appointment? Do they not work when the doctor is out? Fast forward to the phone appointment to go over the results. The doctor is a no show. I called the front desk and was told the doctor is running late. I asked how late and they don't know. Still haven't gotten a call from them. Total lack of responsibility and follow through.

Worst Doctor I have ever met, don't understand why they haven't taken his license away. His office always says that he is a busy man and doesn't have time to return phone calls. My father was in the hospital with a heart condition and Dr. Kumar came in and wanted to release him the same day he came in even though my father could not breathe properly. As I was talking to him and telling him my concerns he kept walking away and saying that my father was fine. Thankfully the Hospital doctor said that she was not going to release him until his breathing was controlled. Then to make things worst a couple of weeks later after my fathers breathing was back to normal he needed a refill of his blood pressure medication. My father called several times and left several messages but never got a call back or never got his refill. After 3 weeks of waiting for a phone call my father went straight to his office to tell them what was going on and the office staff said, "sorry he is very busy". My father told them that hopefully Dr. Kumar can make sometime for him before he gets a heart attack. Again please look at other reviews this Doctor should have his license taken away from him. Don't understand how you become a doctor and don't care about your patients. Un-professional and un-ethical, shouldn't be in the field of medicine.

Doctor Kumar is very good doctor ( I gave 3 starts just for him) but some of his front staffs are uncooperative and rude to the patients. There is a lady who is making us problem every-time we cal the office. The front staffs are responsible for informing lab and test report but they never do. My wife on coumadin and we have to do PT/INR lab every month. After the test no body tells us the result and adjust the doses. When we call they ask us to come to the office visit or make an appointment for the result. Today I called the office for a medication refill that my wife was taking for last 2 decades and 8 years with this doctor, the front staff said she did not see the name on the chart. I have to go to the office and asked her again and there was. I asked her to refill 2 but she diid only one when I checked online. So annoying staff. I will report this to the doctor in our next visit and if the office system does not improve, we will find an alternative..

The implants that he had done were very good- overall experience was excellent. Everyone was expressing that it looks like original set, he has been patient and worked closely for over an year with me accommodating my schedule. He is definitely one of the best doctors and his staff also took special care with all precautions in place during COVID times. Thank you for taking care of me!

Wrong Address on Google --- 1900 Mowery --- Across the street --- June 2013 His English is relatively good. I had no problem understanding him and he express's complex issues very "Clear & Understandable" in English which can be a Major issue for many of us these days. No offense meant here, just an honest REVIEW that Handicaps some of us. He has an Excellent Bed Side Manner and LISTENS to you intently. He will seriously consider your input & I could tell, he took my input into account in his Diagnosis. He will work with you if a conflict arises on a Procedure or medical issues. His Ego does NOT get in the way by having to be right on everything. That is important to me in a Doctor as I've had many where "They're right no matter what"! He's very good at expressing any confusion he may have on a Diagnosis & his reasoning as to why. Overall, he is a very good Cardiologist and I discovered he's also a Primary Care Doctor for some of his Patients. That makes me feel even more confident in spotting other conditions unrelated to the heart. His staff at the Fremont Location for the most part is very nice. The young girl who I believe is the receptionist & answers the phone and make appointments seems to be still learning. She gets a little confused and not always very communicative or concise as to whats going on especially when the office is full. She's very nice, but I guess just always seems "Preoccupied". So ask again and remind her if your waiting on her for anything.
