Our family has been patients of Dr. Nguyen's since 2004. Our primary care physician originally referred us to Dr. Nguyen and under his care with proper follow up we know that the health of our eyes is always in the very best hands. Over the years I have learned of others that also have Dr Nguyen has their eye doctor and are very happy and confident in seeing him and the care that they too are given. He takes the time to explain to us what tests he wants to do and why and to review the test results with us. If we have any questions or concerns during an appointment with him he never rushes us to end the appointment, He listens and takes time with us. Yes - we do understand that occasionally we might have to wait a little bit beyond our appointment time to see him - but we know that he will always take time with us when our turn comes if extra time is needed. My husband recently had cataract surgery in both eyes - one a month apart from the other. Dr. Nguyen and his staff took the time to fully explain the procedure and the medications that needed to be used and any follow up appointments. As my husband was waiting in the surgery area for his eyes to dilate for the procedure and also after the surgery was completed Dr. Nguyen came out to let us know how he was doing. We all feel very confident and comfortable having him for our eye doctor and often recommend him to others.

First of all I rarely ever do this, once i got onto yelp its unbelievable all the negative and 1 star reviews Trung Nguyen optical office has! I am including his rude disgusting foul mouthed wife Candice. My attorney says I have 1 year to file a lawsuit against this so called medical office. Over the years I have kind of shrugged off Candice Dr. wife for her unprofessional and crude behavior and don't really like making changes personally so kept going to see Dr Nguyen. This after noon Doctors wife became very belligerent rude and was swearing saying G. D. this and G.D. that at me. We have a dispute regarding a pair of glasses that broke in a mater or months. I have an old pair with old prescription I am using. The funny weird and strange thing is the glasses have a 1 year warranty and Dr Nguyen office could have easily had the lab redo the my new glasses ( apprx $250.00 just for lenses) a few months ago. Oddly Candice accused me of switching my old glasses with the old prescription and saying its the new one. Being accused is one thing, refusing to honor their policy is another I asked both Doctor and Candice to at least check the prescription of my old pair and they could easily see it was very old lenses prescription. it would have been a good easy way to really verify which glasses where to old one and which had the newer prescription Candice refused to verify it said "we are too busy" Additionally when the lab gave me my new pair a few months ago the frame was give to me lose and it wiggled I asked the employee to tighten it and she refused saying it might break. Dr Trung minh Nguyen office made a bad pair of glasses over a period of months this wiggle lose frame of course would crack or break the lenses which is exactly what happened. I didn't think much they had always over the 15 year period honored their policy "less than year to remake it" again as busy of life and person I am i shrugged my shoulder waited to see what would happen. it did break I have kept in contact with relatives that have worked at Dr Nguyen over the years mentioned what happened today. They laughed and said now "you know why they do not work for that office and more" additionally this office is a revolving door of one employee after another leaving. I understand now why Candice can not retain any employee to stay for any length of time. No doubt a horrible place to not only work but to do business with. I have found a new ophthalmologist, I have asked her to inspect and label which pair off lenses is the old prescription and which is the newer one. Doctor I am talking to you now (not your wife who you let run you practice).If i find out that you lied to me (supposedly you checked my prescription) or we discover that I paid for and you ordered a wrong prescription on my new pair for a few months ago I am going to file a complaint with the California medical board against you and your practice You took an oath Doctor a long time ago have you forgot it to be honest to be transparent and professional or do you "Cow Towe" to someone else in that of office?? its not going to be difficult to determine which lenses is old which lenses was made later Your office practice became so ugly so rude totally unprofessional Dr Nguyen was yelling at me in front of his staff and patients. I am through this yelp letting this southern California community to find another doctor for eyes Do not use Dr Nguyen in fountain Valley ever. Find another eye care doctor. This so called Dr Trung Nguyen doesn't deserve a medical license he has no regard for the people he is supposed to serve here in our country. Doctor I am talking to you if you can not have a higher regard or standard for those of us in the community you do not belong iin this field I will no doubt see you or have some contact at your Medical Board we shall talk sooner than later perhaps Shame shame on you and this Dr Trung Minh nguyen medical clinic
