Allen Priest, MD

I have recently been taking my mom to see Dr. Priest. He has been great with helping her. She is getting needed tests and referrals from him and he really spent some time talking with her. He gave me a call to help me with questions I had and how to better inform my mom of her referrals. He is compassionate and no nonsense about providing help. I would recommend him to another who is looking for a good primary care doctor. Dr. Priest is very fit for his age and it will impress you at how well he takes care of his own health.

The receptionists are rude and can't even perform a simple task. Such as scheduling a appointment for a new patient for a pilots 1st class medical exam. I am sure they will respond with some kind of excuse but there is no excuse for being rude to a potential patient.

This is the WORST doctor I have ever been to in my life! DO NOT ESTABLISH CARE WITH THIS 90 year old man who clearly should of retired 15 years ago. I needed to establish care right at the beginning of COVID. I have always had Kaiser but switched jobs and had to use a PPO. Every visit I had with this doctor was cold and his nonchalant demeanor was present every single visit. The staff is not horrible however this doctor should not be practicing! I recently had blood tests performed. I have been having issues swollowing, short of breath, etc. My lab results came back abnormal. I have a low white blood cell count. I go in for my visit. He said to me "welll what do you want me to do about it" I said "excuse me, you're my doctor it's your job to tell me" he again said "well sir I'm just trying to figure out what you want me to do" completely discrediting my concerns. I will be reporting this doctor! This guy is the equivalent of seniors who still have their drivers license but shouldn't. STAY AWAY FROM THIS INCREDIBLY IRRESPONSIBLE AND RUDE MAN.

Dr. Priest and his staff epitomizes the hypocratic oath beyond it's original meaning. Dr Priest is a general practitioner. He examines you , treats you for minor things and if it turns out a specialist he refers you to the best in the business for your plan. Dr. Priest is a prevention doctor. He works to prevent bad health in the first place. The staff at his office might as well be family. Myself, my wife and five sons have been his patients since 1995. I'm at my wits end wondering which doctor I would sign up for if I out live him. I'm nor blowing smoke people. Look past any negative remarks about him. Someone said he is a bitter man. If that's true Santa Clause is the Grinch. I dont see Dr. Priest socially nor is he family. What I've said about him come from the heart. I dont give a 100percent rating to anyone but in all good conscience , if I didn't I could not live with myself. Dr. Priest is a good old fashioned general practitioner.

I have been with Dr. Priest over 20 years. He is the Best. He listens, He admonishes when necessary, and always helps me deal with my medical issues. He is a Flight Surgeon and pilot which is a plus in my Book. A Very Good Doctor.
