Patient
5 stars for Dr. Sampat, always attentive and professional. Nurses that I've dealt with have been nice. The office staff is lacking. She needs to get a good office manager to guide employees on how to correctly run a front medical office. Even though her employees are a reflection on her. She should not have to spend her time directing them and away from her patients. It does seem like they change staff a lot. Every time I've called and left a message on their recorder, they seem to never retrieve the messages. Recent experience: I had an appointment on Tuesday. On Monday morning, I was admitted to the hospital. At 3:00, at my bedside, my husband phoned the office to let them know I would not be making the appointment. No one answered the phone, so he left a detailed message. On Tuesday, first thing in the morning, I called to let them know I would not be in. I called before the office opened, so I left another message on their recorder. As I am waiting to be transported to SD on Tuesday morning, I got a call wanting to know if I was coming to my appointment. I told the gal that my husband had left a message Monday and I on Tuesday on their recorder, and they need to check it. Like others, this is not the first time this has happened to me. I really do like Dr. Sampat and truly believe she is a great doctor. She has been my doctor for a long time. She knows my history, and at 69, I really dread the thought of having to find a new doctor. I'm praying that things get better in the front office.
