LA Cardiology Inc- Douglas Segal MD and Hossein Eftekhari MD

I'm fairly cynical of doctors/humans in general but not this one. Dr. Segal was professional, empathetic and thorough. I felt heard and taken care of during my visit. I usually have a hard time understanding things that doctors say during visits. However he was exceptional in his explanation of what's going on and which tests I'll need going forward. I'm also not so good at explaining symptoms I'm having and quite often guilty of going off on tangents. Dr. Segal was very patient with that. Thank you Doctor and staff for being dedicated to your patients.

Not really sure about what's going on with this office. I've noticed a steady decline in professionalism overall, with appointment scheduling, emails not being returned, and poor communication. I've requested to speak with the doctor about this and hopefully they can get it back to a higher level of service.

I'm really disappointed with this group the. Doctors in staff there are not coordinated with the appointments, the technic(terry gilb) really desperately they're have not kindness ;the dr.( segal)always there are late poor service

Dr.Douglas B. Segal, MD is an amazing Doctor who has awesome Bed Side Manners, personal able explains what's going on, makes sure you understand what could or couldn't be going on, and most of all his medical recommendations sounds more like encouragement then order. I am so happy I have the pleasure of being one of his patients. It's sad that in todays World of Medicine there's Doctors and nurses that don't care, not personal able and careless how you feel or how they speak to you....... They are not in it because of their passion to help, but for other reasons. NOT Dr. Segal. His office staff is amazing as well as very nice, and professional, they represent Dr. Segal very well. Arrived at the office at 3:05p and wasn't told that the Dr. wasn't there until about 4:40p and that was only after I asked for the second time. I waited months for this appointment because I needed a cardiologist clearance for surgery. UPDATE: Spoke to the Doctor and he appears to be really nice.
