David DaSilva, M.D.

I have been using Sutter Medical over my 53 year career here at the University of California, Davis. Over these many years I have had several primary care doctors and I have been with Dr. DaSilva for probably the last 10 years. He is a great doctor that I would recommend to anyone. He is very informative and helps greatly with my decisions about my own health care. He prescribes all necessary tests and labs and informs me immediately of results. He is easy to contact and easy to talk to. He is able to accomplish this one-on-one relationship in spite of how busy medical professionals are these days. I highly recommend Sutter Medical and Dr. Dasilva in particular.

I have had Dr. DaSilva as my personal care physician for nearly two decades. He is very good at listening to his patients and offering but not pushing suggested meds/treatments unless definitely necessary (BP. Chol as examples). Provides good referrals.

Dr. DaSilva is truly interested in one's health concerns. His approach is decisive and comprehensive. He'll recommend perusing all avenues of diagnostic testing to get to the root cause of the condition that is causing the symptoms one describes. This aligns with my expectation of medical treatment.
