About Dr. Rex Winters MD
Rex Winters MD, is an interventional cardiologist who always had an interest in physiology. He felt that medicine--specifically cardiology--would allow him to combine his interest and knowledge to advance cutting-edge technology and high-quality care. During his training he completed an internal medicine residency, a cardiology fellowship and an interventional cardiology fellowship. "Cardiovascular care remains highly dependent on evaluating patients in person," he describes. "It's that doctor-patient encounter during consultation and routine visits that I enjoy the most." He says that the diversity of patients and cardiovascular challenges that he sees on a daily basis keeps him motivated.

Dr Winters has fixed (stents) etc. and guided my husband thru 5, yes 5 open heart surgery's. He is still having very health and active life. Dr Winters is the best.

Chose not to go because front desk/appt was standoffish from the get-go. This doctor does not do telemedicine or zoom appts despite Covid. Made a telemedicine appt. elsewhere for my test orders. What's the necessity to see someone in office first time when there's not even any labs or anything to review? Lol funny. Bye!

Excellent Dr and well trained and courteous staff. Great team of cardiologist. I highly recommend them having just gotten through my first Afib experience with them. They guided me all the way through and I don't know how I would have done it otherwise.
