The staff seems to be great the doctor not so much. You wait longer in the waiting room than in consultation with the doctor. He dismisses your concerns and doesn't try to give you a good answer. After talking to some of his other patients in the waiting room he does this with most of them. I think they over book patients and don't have enough time for everyone. I wasted my time here. I left and immediately asked to be sent to a different cardiologist.

I previously left a bad review because of how dirty and old the office waiting room was and how it made me want to find a different doctor, but as I was about to leave, they called my name so I went in and thankfully so because this is the first cardiologist who actually listened to my concerns and ordered the appropriate tests which revealed that I do have two conditions! Finally after 15 years of being gaslit by doctors I have an answer!!!! I'm not here for my follow up and am SO HAPPY TO SEE they listened to my feedback and got new clean chairs and cleaned the office waiting room up!!!! It's such a better experience now!!!

This doctor was my primary care provider that my insurance provided. I was just in a pretty bad car accident a couple of months ago and it was suggested I go see my pcp even after being cleared by the er. So this was my first time seeing this doctor and definitely my last. I've never felt more belittled and uncomfortable by a health care provider in my life. He made sure to let me know I was handling everything all wrong and even told me there was no point of me being there today. Told me there was no way my insurance is going to cover my visit so he doesn't know why I came. Extremely disrespectful, dismissed me like I didn't matter and left it to his office manager who was very nice and was trying to get information from me but I had to inform her I would be leaving and changing my pcp after today.

Two years Dr. Patel told me nothing is wrong with me; aside from my chronic nausea and the pain I've been having in my side... I now have blood coming out with my stool. I saw someone wrote about crying when leaving Dr. Patel offices... so have I. Multiple occasions. If you get assigned to Dr. Patel, change doctors. I have been ill for two years with chronic nausea. All Dr. Patel does is have me do blood and urine test, then tells me nothing is wrong with me. I went to the ER twice and Urgent Care once that first year I had him as a doctor. Was told to follow up with my PCP for the nausea, diarrhea, and lost of appetite. Dr. Patel still told me nothing was wrong with me. His STAFF will provide you with the service you need, not Dr. Patel himself. His STAFF got me a referral to see a GI specialist. I had to wait three months for an endoscopy and unfortunately, that GI specialist stopped talking my insurance after that. I was stuck going back to Dr. Patel. He continued to tell me nothing was wrong with me. I went there last month due to declining health, a pain on my right side, and issues with Ears/Nose/Throat "ENT". Dr. Patel PRODDED at my rib, making it hurt more, and told me nothing was wrong with me. He only prescribed me Ibuprofen that I don't need. Again, someone from his STAFF saw I was upset and starting to cry so she ordered an X-ray for my ribs and referred me to an ENT. I am switching doctors. The X-ray has to go through my new doctor, as will the ENT referral. So I will not be following up with Dr. Patel's staff. Dr. Patel... all this time you told me nothing is wrong with me, I now have blood coming out with my stool. I most certainly do NOT want to go to you for help. You'll do blood/urine... maybe a stool test this time and tell me nothing is wrong with me. Or perhaps you'll say to eat more fiber. Shame on you Dr. Patel. If you don't care, stop being a doctor. If maybe you don't like your Medi-Cal patients, then stop taking that insurance. You should be fired! Five stars to Dr. Patel's staff. ZERO stars for Dr. Patel himself.

I was nervous when my insurance co. automatically changed my GP, since I had been with the previous dr for at least 7-8yrs. It was a blessing in disguise. As a GP he is a great Dr, and about 2-3yrs into his care I found myself admitted to the hospital with cardiac problems at the age of 35. He is an amazing Dr and Cardiac Specialist. Grateful to have been in his care when I was ill.
