Dr. Walter T. Kusumoto, MD

He made me feel very comfortable I do not like hospitals and I was not afraid to go in for surgery with Dr. Kusumoto he is phenomenal in his trade.

I've heard mixed reviews. It seems like he doesn't have the time and may have some bedside manner issues. Sounds like he's lacking patience due to time constraints. If he's the only rhythm specialist in town he's still who I will see once his staff call me back again... it took months for them to call me back previously on an urgent referral and they weren't able to schedule for another month. Every doctor says he's great. Sounds like it's more a staffing issue and a doctor who doesn't have time for much. I am hearing patients feel rushed, unheard, shutdown etc. which is where the bad reviews come from. there's no one else in town with his training. Therefore he's the best. So you either want to see someone local and you have time to wait OR you should just drive somewhere to see someone not overbooked with poor staff protocol. Knowing these issues ahead of time I would write all your symptoms down on list and or any info that may be important/useful, past ekg etc. minimize it as best you can or hand him the list then move out of his way. If we know that he has no time then make sure you figure out how to make the best use of five minutes. Or go out of town for more sensitive/interpersonal care.... Seriously though the staff need to call people back and not lie to their referring cardiologists and say they did or are going to... I'm giving him three stars because I've yet to meet him and so far it's the staff and word of mouth. I will update this review further if I ever get a full hands on experience.

Dr. Kusumoto stood extremely close to me when speaking, made me feel very uncomfortable. After the 1st 2 visits, every appointment was pointless as all he did was have a nurse do an EKG and send me on my way. I'm never going back.

Dr. Is knowledgeable, kind and supportive. However getting to him is a challenge. Once I realized the lady in front of me had same time slot I had and I verified with receptionist it was explained this office has 15 minute slots and schedule 3 people in each slot. So basically you get 5 minutes with Dr. your wait time for your 5 minutes might take an hour and good luck finding a parking spot within two blocks

He saved my Dad's Life!!! My Dad went to many Doctors before seeing Dr. Kusumoto & none of them knew what was wrong with him. Dr. Kusumoto quickly diagnosed & treated my Dad. Now my Dad is happy & healthy . Thank you Dr. Kusumoto
