Rashmi Jain, MD

Dr. Jain has been my nephrologist for seven years, and thanks to her, my kidneys have been stable. She has kept them monitored and functioning without having to go to a dialysis. She is an excellent doctor and makes you feel positive with her caring and sweetness at every visit. I have personally seen her in the hospital visiting her patients bed by bed.Thanks to her I'm I still alive because she detected another disease in my system, and thanks to her I was admitted to UCSF. She is known and appreciated by all her colleagues. There is no other doctor as humane, talented, and focused on the latest technology to help and cure her patients. I recommend her 100% without reservation.

EXTREMELY RUDE as I asked Dr. "B" (aka Jain) a simple question in the hospital while mom's dying (unresponsive) on her deathbed. Dr. Jain likes to belittle you - SHE WALKED OUT OF THE ROOM WHEN I CONFRONTED HER OF HER RUDE WORDS she said to me, IN FRONT ON MY HUSBAND AND ADULT KIDS. I'd rather DIE than have you as my doctor. YOU ARE EVIL AND FULL OF YOURSELF!!! It's been years and I'm STILL VERY UPSET FROM YOUR BEHAVIOR. VERY DISAPPOINTING AS A DOCTOR / HEAD OF YOUR DEPARTMENT. RETIRE!!!!!!!!!! OF COURSE: HER RESPONSE... Dr. Jain is very knowledgable and helpful. She has been great in figuring out what was wrong with me and then working to fix it. She will run late so do not go to your appointment in a rush.

I am a 5 year+ patient of Dr. Jain...I would just have to say that she saved my life. I spent years on dialysis with the determination of my outcome would be death. Dr. Jain entered my life 5 years ago on a whim she inspired me to thrive, fight and work hard for a transplant. It wasn't until she referred me to cedar Sinai and my life changed in 2021 followed by an almost perfect match kidney transplant and a beautiful healthy boy one year later. She had been the inspiration that keeps me going everyday. I just love her and her compassion and patience is just what patients need in a Dr which is really rare these days. 100+stars
