Kamran Toluie, MD

I had an extremely negative experience with this doctor -- so much so that I would not trust them to care for even my worst enemy. The level of care I received was not only disappointing but, in my opinion, unacceptable for any medical professional. Based on my experience, I believe this doctor should be reviewed by the appropriate medical authorities. I strongly urge others to seek care elsewhere.

This man is an AMAZING doctor, you are lucky to have his skill saving your heart!!! He also works out of Southern California Hospital in Culver City, frankly a chaotic, fairly indigent patient hospital, where my medical landed me. He has a 'cath lab' staffed with his own team, and boy did Dr. T pick a great team! I'm actually a very healthy 48, who apparently didn't know I had an electrical issue with my heart, probably since birth. From a 'heart attack", to my 1st hospital stay lasting a week, (while patients scream incessantly at caring staff in every dept), to a very urgent need for 2 heart surgeries, it's beyond overwhelming, & not much time to research or choose alternatives. So when Dr Toluie breezed in on his rounds (after waiting due to hospital schedualing 2 days) to inform me in 30seconda what was wrong & what he was going to do, I could only cry on his exit, with so little explanation & no calm conversation & questions while hand holding (lol). With the help of the most heartfelt nurse, he did return, frustrated that I couldn't understand his diagnosis, had more questions & took more of his time, but not unkind. When his cath lab nurse team showed up to roll me into the first surgery, after praying all night & being so scared, they instantly connected with me, put me at ease, and explained clearly, easily, took my questions & laughed with me. Both surgeries with Dr. Toluie & the 5 or so cath lab 'people' were flawless, thoughtful, companionate, including me in the procedure info and just really on their medical game, which I can't detail unfortunately. Its a lot to have probes run up through your body for a possible stint, then reentered from groin to heart for ablation you pray will take, & Dr Toluie & his team proved themselves ultra competent. I was sent away with 'your fine, live your life, no medical restrictions, if I see you again it will be for a pacemaker,' & a year later it's true, I've been fully healed, no limit on activities or lifestyle. Dr. Toluie deserves the most high medical praise, & I'm sure he'd be fun if you got him on the golf course. I'm so glad I randomly got Dr. Toluie the Electrophysiologysist, not just cardiologist. I guess I'm glad there wasn't time or options to research or look for alternatives, & glad Dr. Toluie just got in there & fixed what he knew I needed! If you get Dr. Toluie just go with what he says, he knows his stuff. If any electophsiologyst can make you ok, Dr. Toluie can! Thank you for all you have helped Dr. K. Toluie!!!

My mother just left his office with a horrible experience that increased her blood pressure. She is a spanish speaker but does understand English. However, she still requires a translator to better understand everything. She was referred to doctor Toluie to be evaluated for her upcoming surgery. The office didn't have a translator for her. He also said he won't take no more Medi-CAL patient's. He expressed frustration and was rude to her. He told her to come next time with a translator. I don't know what his day was like but being rude towards a patient is not ethically righ doesnt matter if you are a doctor. Medicine is to help others and not to judge them for their disabilities. I don't know if he found it easier just to be rude towards my mother because she was not able to express herself well in English like others. I wonder if he would do the same if it was to be his mother or his loved one the same way as mine for not being able to express themselves well in English.

Arrogant & self conscious...way to many clients on not knowing who they are during visits. He continued to my mother's declined in health and eventual passing with the wrong and improper dosage and medicine. Don't be fooled by all his certificates

Surprized, how Dr. whom ignore his hospital patient needs on time; woried only about billing, paperwork for insurance, his wellness and his porsche- got 5 stars. Careless , ignorant, negligent... with a pretty smile on face!
