Dr. Sih is an amazing expert and doctor. I was diagnosed with kidney stones and she was concise and to the point. She explained what was going on, the procedures that might be needed, and was very patient with my questions. She has a great sense of humor! I am very happy with her care and trust her opinions. The staff at the front desk were also excellent.
Dr Pienkny recently performed a procedure on me. Prior to the procedure he answered all of my questions and made me feel as comfortable as possible. The procedure went well and exceeded my expectations. He also is a very informed. Clinician and I value his knowledge in dealing with my neurological needs. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
I was and AM very impressed by Dr. Barme AND I had meant to tell him that my UTI is now GONE times two(?) months. Perhaps I'm alone in not being concerned about my "privacy" in communicating with any doctor. But it's those HIPAA rules that, at least in MY case, inhibit more candid and timely interactions with my doctors. Anyway: thank you Dr. Barme!.
For anyone having the luck to find such a capable doctor, one could not be in better hands than with Dr. Barme and his team. He listens and asks for specific information, and responds with thoughtful feedback and planning. He considers all options and is very clear and down to earth.
The office forced my 91 years dad to see Dr Lee with Cantonese speaking, rather than the Dr I chose on referral. I told Dr Lee he woke up and pee every 2 hrs at night, but he didn't took my words. My dad said once/twice nightly, that's not the fact. He trusted his memory rather my observation nightly. I switched Dr Barme still the same, he's 92 now He said as long as it didn't bother my dad should be OK. I showed him the counts that I stay up all night and marked the time. Total 6 times, he still think OK because my dad didn't remember/complaint. With my complaints, finally he gave him 2 week sample of GEMTESA to try for overactive bladder. That's the newest and most expensive brand name meds which is not by all part D drug plan. Why not starts with generic or cheaper meds? I don't feel confident to return to GGU with any doctor. I don't think they understand and take good care for the 92 years old patient.
