Dr. Aaron Banks, MD

I cannot thank Dr. Banks enough for being the best at what he does!!! He's been the only Cardiologist who's taken the time to do my son's Echo HIMSELF, instead of having a technician do it for him like other places. No offense! I just have been misled by 3 Cardiologists in major cities that never told us my son's heart was severely enlarged, like Dr Banks. The other doctors had told us, his heart was enlarged but it's nothing to be alarmed about...They more or less treated it as if this is probably because of my sons rare syndrome and this could be a common issue. When we first met with Dr. Banks just last year he immediately noticed the blood flow was significantly pumping blood on one side of my sons heart because of his VSD and ASD holes not being closed at birth. With this matter this could have definitely caused damage to my son's lungs due to the size. He heard me out from the beginning and followed his instincts and had us do all necessary tests to have open heart surgery with the best heart surgeon at CHLA just two weeks ago and my son is thriving and could fool anyone he just underwent heart surgery. He's the happiest 4 year old that will excel and I know Dr. Banks will be one major reason why! Thank you again!

Highly recommend this dr!!! I just took my son today as he's been having chest pain and an irregular beat. With my family history of heart disease, my son's pediatrician recommended Dr. Banks. I cannot say enough amazing things about this office! From the second we walked in, the front desk staff was welcoming and kind. They spoke to my son calmly and told them what they were doing with the ekg. Then we saw Dr. Banks who was probably one of the best doctors we've seen. He was very personable and kind. He was playing around with my son and made it a fun experience! He was also very thorough with the exam. Also, the entire thing took about an hour..... which is a rarity for a cardiologist office .

Dr Banks has been a very great Dr For My Miracle Baby She Has A Rare Heart Condition Called DILV (Double Inlet lefft Ventricle). She has been going to him straight from the Hospital, I appreciate Everything He Has Done For My Daughter The Way He Patiently Looks After Her Couldn't Ask For Anyone Better. Thanks Dr. Banks

I went here many years ago because I had pretty bad chest pains. I had heart surgery when I was 7 then the chest pains started when I was about 13-14. He asked me how often they were. I told him multiple times a day, his very next question was "so would you say a couple times a month" my mom had to answer for my because my jaw had dropped and I was so shocked. He was typing on the computer so he didn't see. He said it was just growing pains and wouldn't listen when I kept trying to say they were too often. Well 5 years later I went to another doctor and found out it was surgical wires from my surgery. They had broke and were stabbing me. Quick out patient surgery and I've been pain free ever since. Could have gone those extra 5 years without almost constant pain had he just listened to me instead of getting it stuck in his head that I couldn't be feeling anything but growing pains.
