Horrible misdiagnosis of my dad! She reported to the DMV that my dad had mild dementia/Alzheimers with only a verbal cognitive exam, that my father had no idea he was taking. She never offered a translator and didn't tell him what was going on. He went in for his hand shaking and her answer to this was to put him on a dose of Parkinson's medication. After taking the medication for a month, my father said it was not working or making a difference and she doubled the dosage. After speaking with her, I told her the medication was giving him horrible side effects and wasn't helping one bit. Her response was well maybe we need to up the dosage again. I took my dad for a 2nd opinion and they said he does not have dementia or early onset Alzheimers after doing a couple consultations and an EEG exam. Everything was normal. I am dealing with the DMV to clear a reporting that should have never been reported without substantial evidence. Her actions have caused our family great amount of stress. If I could give 0 stars I would.
