Dr. De Sousa scheduled me for a stress test. I sent a message via my chart, asking why not schedule me for a pet scan, with calcium scoring, as it is a more comprehensive test and has clearer imagining. I was told that he does the stress test in his office, and does not have access to the other. I had the stress test, and to no surprise, he said the results were, Inconclusive, due to imaging. So what am I paying for??? Now, with no information, he wants to do an angiogram. Really??? I am not a guinea pig for him to "guess", what's wrong with me. Nor am I made of money, paying for an old, out of date imaging machine he owns in his office, instead of actually being concerned about my heart, and providing me with the best and medically advanced heart imaging service, so that when I pay for a medically necessary test it does not return, Inconclusive, wasting more time, that I may, or maybe not, have. (Heart Health speaking).

The staff has much to learn about people. They want you to be there at the time they schedule you, and if you're not they will charge you. However when the doors are locked and you have an appointment for 6:45 AM and you make a phone call you get the answering service ugh!!! And the answering well they don't communicate with the front desk. Anyway the office staff didn't really care about me as a parent so I will seek another cardiologist. Don't go here they really don't care about your health only pay if you don't keep your appointment. One

I was admitted to St Mary's with chest pains and was cared for by Dr Desouza. He was very kind, and informative. He ran many tests on me to make sure I was okay. I was extremely nervous when I was admitted, but Dr Desouza put my mind at ease. My life was in his hands and I would trust him again if needed. I believe he is an excellent cardiologist!
