Patient
No wonder they have a bad reputation. I had an angiogram and about a week after, started to experience severe pain. Went to ER. They found blood clots in the arm. Week later, pain persists and is worse. Dr. Nash prescribed blood thinners but would not see me to follow up and would not help with pain. I will definitely not see him again. I've lost the use of my arm, hopefully temporarily. Dr Nash and Arkansas Heart Hospital have terrible follow-up care. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Added: and then Dr Nash prescribed a blood thinner that I can't take due to Alpha gal allergy. This guy is downright incompetent. Heaven help you if you have complications from the procedure bc Dr Nash sure won't help you. I'd give them less than one star but I guess that's not possible. Added: AHH called to apologize and to try and make things right. While I appreciate the attempt, a random public relations person called. Not Dr Nash or his nurse. This PR person explained that Dr Nash has a new nurse. His new nurse is inexperienced. Dr Nash made the mistake of listening to this new inexperienced nurse. So...take no responsibility and blame the nurse. Truly awful though not surprising behavior. They also stressed how important it was that I have cardiac bypass surgery right away. Heart surgery is serious business. A patient should have a high level of confidence in the cardiologist, his or her team, and the hospital system itself before agreeing to such a risky operation. I have zero confidence in AHH system after all this.
