My frustration is with the entry or front office which is as non helpful and as bureaucratic as any I have ever encountered. Every attempt I have made to transact patient business by phone has left me wondering if anyone in the office cares about the experience the patient has. Can't imagine that is on anyone's list of priorities including the physician,, based on my multiple encounters...long menus, much of no interest, always going to voice mail with the notice your call could likely not be answered for 24 to 48 hours! Oh you are also told you can go to the ER, the place we all really want to go rather than seeing their heart specialist. I am almost 82 and i have learned I don't have to keep going to a physician or anyone else who doesn't treat me with basic courtesy and that means making it easy and promptly able to speak with a person, not an exclusively AI recording.
PS adding insult to injury, your elevator music is awful, too loud, harsh, when it could be soft and soothing. I recommend you have secret patient calls and objectively evacuate everything I have mentioned. Sorry I won't be a patient going forward.
