Patient
I do not recommend him or his staff. Last year, in May 2024, was my first time seeing him. I think i left a review from then. I'll sum it up. He seemed like he didn't have a clue as to why I was seeing him since I was referred to him after having an irregular heartbeat and wore the monitor for a day (another story altogether). I waited for a long time in the room to see him, and within 7ish minutes, I was out the door again. He told me to change my diet to Mediterranean food and walk more. I mentioned my feet swell, and it was hard and hurt a lot when that happens. He didn't ask me about ANYTHING I had done previously in my diet or any explanation to what a Mediterranean diet was. (I only knew a little about it) he said to come back in 6 months and walked out the door! I asked the nurse if I needed to schedule the next appointment, and they said they would. So, I'm thinking they would call me to ask for a decent time to come back. NO. I got a letter about 2 weeks later with my appointment time. Onto this May 19, 2025, I scheduled to see his nurse practitioner because Thursday didn't work for me in the summer. I get into the room and get asked the typical questions from the "nurse" who seems to be as green as they come. I mentioned to her that I was having wrist surgery on May 29, and I wanted the NP to send what was needed to the dr. Who was doing the surgery. No problem. I mention that IF the Dr. Wants me to stay on the RX that I needed refills. (No communication there). The "nurse" comes back in and says she can get me into the Jonesboro hospital for the ECHO at 8:30am the next day. I mentioned to her that I lived an hour away and could I have it done in Osceola, which is 7 minutes away, or Blytheville, which is 30 minutes away. Well, I think I broke her because I swear I could see the "loading" wheel spinning above her head, and she was twiddling her fingers at the thought of calling the other places. She came back into the room and said the The Osceola hospital was going to call me in 3 day to set up a time. So I left at least i had a copy of the orders in my hand if I needed to walk into the hospital and ask for them. Turns out the Dr. Didn't require one. I didn't worry about it. I also had to call and ask for that refill I mentioned, and I contacted my mail order pharmacy. I got a let in the mail about 2 weeks later for my appointment in Oct. Or something. I'm thinking of canceling. Onto today, June 19, 2025. I get a call from the "nurse" asking if I ever got the ECHO from the hospital. I told her "no, they never called". I told her I didn't need it anymore since the surgery WAS MAY 29! I broke her again. I could imagine that wheel was spinning again. So, no, I do not recommend this office or the St. Bernard system. They STILL think we owe money to them, EVEN THOUGH THEY cashed the check back in Dec. 2024.
