They wasted our time twice. They called to schedule an appointment after our primary care doctor referred us to them but at no time mentioned that it was in Bentonville. We live closer to the Springdale NW Medical Center, so the expectation was that it would be in Springdale. I actually asked the lady at one point if the cardiology clinic was on Maple Ave, which is the address in Springdale, and she said yes. We ended up going to the Springdale hospital searching for a room that didn't exist. We rescheduled after finding out it was supposed to be in Bentonville. When we got up there, we found out that the appointment had been suddenly cancelled. The lady at the desk acted like it was our fault that we came, saying that she left a message for us that morning. But she didn't call our landline phone till about an hour before the appointment, at which time we had already left the house in order to be there on time because of how far away we live. The thing is, patients are required to cancel one to two days before the appointment. Nice how they don't hold themselves to the same standard. Unprofessional office with zero respect for people's time.
It was my first visit. I was early and waited and waited and waited. Finally I asked if they were behind of the front desk person said yes. I waited and waited more. I asked how far behind? She stared at the computer screen and then said there were patients in the back and another ahead of me in the waiting room. That means probably at least another 30 minutes. When I asked for an approximate time, the response was "I don't know." No effort to find out or give me an idea. How could they be more than an hour behind right after lunch? Finally, after I waited and waited and waited, I told the front desk person to forget it and left. I have no idea what Dr. Singh is like. The reviews of him are good. But what other business could keep going with such a total lack of ability to honor a simple schedule? If you have nothing to do but sit around, go for it. Otherwise, I'm back to Mercy where I never wait more than a few minutes, and it is a much larger facility. It was my first visit; and my last.
Everyone at this clinic are experts. They are so kind and knowledgeable. They don't just take care of your heart. They help any way they can.... Here's an update. My cardiologist left without notifying me or my daughter. She is a patient too. Then our PA left with no notice. I called to make my appt and was told, oh she isn't here any more. A letter would be great. Not impressed with that.
I spent over a year seeing another cardiologist at Mercy who did nothing. Moving to NW and Dr. Singh was the best thing i did. My heart issue is under control and I feel "safe" with the care I am getting.
