Das Sugata MD

We have gone to here for 2 years. Husband was tested every which way possible. Last visit was a follow up on the tests......guess what....he wanted to do more tests and gave no feed back on the tests already done. He walked in and out when my husband refused a test that had been done 2 years ago by Das. Yep, time to find a new cardiologist. All this one wants to do is tests and collect money. Poor doctor.

If I could I would rate a 0. When we moved to Yuma my first priority was to find a cardiologist as I have artificial heart valves. Das was recommended by my insurance plan. My first appointment I waited for over an hour. When he walked into the exam room he looked at me and asked "why are you here? You are too young for heart problems." Then left.

they make you wait FOREVER and then the dr spends all of one minute talking to you and giving you the results. He has you do a ton of tests. They are all about the money. I'm scared for my mom's surgery, is he gonna rush through that like he rushes through his appointments?

Can't say enough about how great the heart procedure went. Thank you for your steady hands and great outcome that has extended my life. Your positive bedside manner was an added bonus.

DON"T GO HERE! They'll botch your procedure and send you to Dr. Cardenas to clean up his work! Not only did Dr. Das fail to follow-up after the botched procedure, but he got an UNHERD of referral appt scheduled for Dr Cardenas in 2 days. If it wasn't for going on vacation, the botched work would have never been tracked back to Dr Das' failed procedure, because Dr Cardenas would have been the last to use to the knife. But when on vacation (prior to making an appt with Dr Cardenas) things started to swell *ALOT* and turn black, blue, and purple, in an area consistent with the procedure that was done. Turns out all that swelling and bruising was internal bleeding that wasn't addressed by the Dr, or any other of Dr Das' staff. After the procedure, the only thing said was that it was a failed entry and that a referral would be made to Dr Cardenas. When trying to talk with Dr Das about this issue, so that collaboration could be made with the next Dr that would need to go in to fix the work he failed, I was told by the management, "It was not a failed attempt! He was referred (by Dr Das) because he's a specialist in that area!" Excuse me, but I was under the impression that Sugata Das is a Doctor, and that CARDIOLOGY IS HIS SPECIALTY!? So if you're reading this, PLEASE do yourself a favor and just go straight to Dr Cardenas. Or ANYWHERE else for that matter... If you would like more information please feel free to ask. I hate seeing people get screwed over by Yuma's greedy medical community that cares more about $$ than they do about taking care of those that need their help.
