Patient
I have no terrible comments to say about Dr.Rinley-Olsen, she usually remembers my health records without having to look over my file. I WILL SAY, it is absolutely ridiculous how they manage appointments. I've had two separate encounters in which my appointment time wasn't respected. The first time I waited 1hr and 15min, no one apologized, no consolation, nothing. After the consultation was over, Rosa (the receptionist), advised me to call 30min before my next appointment to see if they were behind or not. How is it that I am scheduled an appointment, yet they are still asking me to call and see if things are running in a timely manner ? The second time was today, my appointment was scheduled at 3. I did not call. I did not think that was appropriate on their end to be advising me to do that. I showed up at 3pm (mind you, when I walked in, there were 3 other people in the waiting area), I signed in, at 3:04 Rosa called me up to give my copay. As I am about to hand her my card, I ask her ' Are you guys behind ?' In which she answers ' Just a bit ', so I asked ' How long will I wait? ' in which she answered, ' Just 45 minutes or so.' I was stunned that she though that was a bit. I have things to do, I have a job. I move my schedule just to be ON TIME to my appointment in which THEY SCHEDULED, just to show up and have to wait. I think that's completely unprofessional. Again, Dr.Rinely-Olsen is amazing but for this to be a constant issue, I'm done for. Please teach Rosa how to properly schedule appointments.
