I had a quick appointment with Dr Bates that lasted less than 10 minutes--I was simply requesting a referral for a preventative imaging procedure. I was charged for a 30 - 40 minute "detailed" appointment. I've left several messages with the office manager over the past 6 weeks (which I was told the office manager received) and never received a return call.

GREAT experience!
This was my first appointment with Dr Bates.
She is bright, knowledgeable, professional.
And, she took time with me, not rushed, a good listener, down to earth, answered questions in a comfortable, easy to understand manner.
I actually enjoyed the visit... Don't think that I've ever enjoyed meeting with a cardiologist. I left glad that she is my cardiologist.

Today was my first visit with Dr. Bates. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the facility, and the kindness, and efficiently of her staff. Dr. Bates patiently listened to my reason for the visit, asked meaningful questions that helped me to know that she was paying attention to me. Dr. Bates and her nurse provided a through examination, and scheduled tests to confirm that my heart is healthy. I waited three months for an appointment, but my visit proved to me that Dr. Bates was worth waiting for.

My husband had an emergency pacemaker put in while we were visiting our daughter in California. That cardiologist said that he needed to see his cardiologist at home with 7 days. We tried and tried to call for appointment which was urgent because of the pacemaker. The staff was awful and would not accommodate anything. No call at all and then we called them 7 days later and still no answer as to when they could see him!!!!
No problem .. we have moved on and have now seen another cardiologist who is actually caring of my husbands health! He almost died!!
We love Dr Bates but can not deal with terrible staff and no call backs when this is an emergency!
To busy? Probably .. so we move on to someone that has better service! Bye!
