Kartik Reddy, MD

I was referred to Dr Reddy for atrial fibrillation. My wife and I found him to be extremely personable, down to earth and candid. He explained my heart condition to me in a way that I clearly understood. I have been dealing with a fib for so many years and was having episodes almost every day that were severely debilitating. I had been to the ER and urgent care more than 10 times in three years. We began worrying about traveling anywhere. After undergoing a "pulse field ablation" last year, I have not had a single episode since. I cannot thank Dr. Reddy and his team enough for their wonderful treatment and how much he has changed my life. Cannot recommend Dr Reddy more!!

A well run office that is is very customer focused. Friendly, efficient staff all around.. Dr. Reddy is up there with the finest doctors I've met. I've been impressed every single appointment. When I've mentioned him like that to my other cardiologist and nurses after my ablation certainly agree. The cardiologist saying Dr. Reddy is a very sophisticated Electrophysiologist with outstanding skills. The nurses liked him because he follows hospital rules, best practices, and generally is an awesome doctor who doesn't leave any loose ends or questions in his wake. Dr. Reddy delivered an excellent result and ongoing care for me.

The office and employees in the office were kind and helpful. Dr Katrik Reddy on the other hand was really quick to schedule me a PFA Ablation with having not seen my sonograms or paperwork. I'm 39 and went into afib once. Before I knew it he was opening the door to leave the room and get me schedule. He made me feel particularly dumb for asking a question on the paperwork. He didn't explain or go over the other two options for ablations and basically just assumed I wanted one. He didn't offer any other options like change of lifestyle or medications. I decided to call family and friends who are doctors in California and in Arizona and they all agreeded to get a second opinion. After getting two more opinions from different cardiologists who took the time to hear my story and past, and take tests they all said my heart was healthy and I absolutely don't need this procedure after one documented occurrence. I was told to get off the blood thinners and not to return to him. I left Dr Katrik Reddys office feeling rushed, unsure and insecure as well as uniformed hence why I reached out to the doctors in my family. I wouldn't suggest any doctor who doesn't have time for you or tries to throw you in a procedure to either practice a new operation or for financial gains. The other two cardiologists I went to out of his office who I won't mention are well known in Arizona and took the time to actually diagnose me. If you see Dr Katrik Reddy I would highly suggest getting multiple other opinions before being bullied into something you don't understand because he never gave other options or took the time. Hopefully other people have better experiences.

I wanted to see Dr. Reddy, when I arrived here in the fall and was an able to get in. Circumstances led to this appointment, and I was extremely pleased With his knowledge and understanding of my situation. I highly recommend him.

"Dr Reddy is terrible. He was scheduled February 14, 2024 at 7am for a 30 minute pacemaker surgery for my wife after her TAVR surgery. At 7:25 the surgery nurse came out and told me not to worry, Dr Reddy slept in and was running 30 minutes late. When he arrived my wife heard him badmouthing her TAVR surgeon before the procedure started. Two hours later the recovery nurse came out to ask why I did not come in with my wife. She was shocked to hear Dr Reddy did not come out to see me and tell me anything. Two days later she was rushed beck to emergency with cardiac tamponade and need a drain tube. The next day she required one of the pacemaker leeds to be replaced and the other leed to be repositioned. (By another Dr) Dr Reddy had penetrated her heart wall with his sloppy work. Everything he had done had the be redone! He has not contacted us at all after the initial mess. Pima Heart has a tremendous care team and Dr Reddy should not be part of the team. If you hear his name, just say NO and request another Dr."
