Dr Peart received her bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia and graduated from Marshall's Joan C Edwards School of Medicine. She completed her residency program in Internal Medicine through the Tucson Hospitals Medical Education Program. After returning to Marshall University to complete her Cardiology Fellowship, she returned to Tucson to begin practice as the first female cardiologist in Southern Arizona. As an Interventional Cardiologist, Dr Peart is trained and credentialed to perform many complex procedures in the hospital environment. Her areas of special interest include women's heart health and clinical research.

I have been seeing Dr Peart for many years and I credit my survival and my current heart health -- which keeps me very active and productive at 81 -- to Dr Peart's consistent truly outstanding care over many years.
