Fala Medical Clinic

I'm very disappointed that I've been a patient for 3 years, today I was told to pay my balance, or I won't be seen today. I had neck surgery 3 weeks ago and am on medical leave, so I have no income. I've refered at least 6 patients to Dr. Fala, along with my 2 daughters and extended family members. Thanks for your services. I feel this was completely unethical, and am left 2 days before Thanksgiving looking for a new provider.

My Husband, William Eckert, is a patient of Dr Falas. He has had a difficult time finding a primary care doctor because of his hearing and pain problems. He ha told me that his visits with Dr Fala have been excellent and he is very fond of his bedside manner, besides being very competent in his diagnosis and treatment.

I'm a 78 year old senior citizen. After spending several hours filling out 6 pages of overly detailed medical information before my initial appointment for a cortisone hip injection, I was told I still had to arrive 30 minutes before my appointment time. I did this, handed in my completed printed 6 page form with attachments of personal information. I sat in the waiting room all by myself for 20 minutes. While being led to an examination room I passed many other examination rooms that were all empty and the "Provider" room where Dr Fala was on his cell phone. After waiting over 10 minutes, I went into the hall to ask why I was waiting. Dr Fala came into the room with an attitude right away. He said I had only been waiting 12 minutes since the time of my appointment and thought that was a reasonable amount of time. I agreed, if the office was busy. I thought I had been forgotten. He suggested that this was not a good way to start a relationship with a new doctor. He asked where I had this procedure done before. I told him I spent an enormous amount of time filling out his forms and asked if he had even looked at them. He stood up and told me to leave his office, which I had decided to do anyway. He berated me all the way to the lobby (still empty). I went back in and politely ask receptionist for my paperwork back and that all my personal information be deleted from their system. She wasn't sure what to do. Someone else went back to talk to the doctor and he came to the lobby and made me leave. What an EGO! You know, a red flag went up when I was able to get an appointment so quickly. Now I understand why. No wonder the waiting room, examination rooms and parking lot were all empty. BEWARE!!

Dr Fala is a good listener and a knowledgeable problem solver. He does not take the easy method of simply prescribing meds but explores the situation with tests so he knows exactly what medical situation exists before attacking it. I am so thankful he is my doctor.

I haven't had a good experience with my past PCP and was hesitant to go to my appt. The office staff was very friendly right from the start. I was also so appreciative of the timeliness of Dr Fala and his genuine concern. Not only did he take time to listen, he seemed to be focused on addressing all of my issues. Im so thankful to find someone like this on this crazy world.
