Dr. Sumar specializes in cardiology, interventional cardiology and endovascular medicine. He is Board Certified and part of the Fellowship of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Sumar was born and raised in Bombay, India. After he received his Doctorate of Medicine from Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, he moved to the United States to pursue his childhood dream of becoming a cardiologist. While in New Jersey, he completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at Newark Beth Israel Hospital and then followed by a Fellowship in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at Seton Hall University.

Really like this Dr but we had to wait 45 min past our appointment time to see him. I was there with my elderly father who has dementia and very impatient. The appointment was to go over test results only to find out they hadn't been uploaded yet so he had to call us with them. Very frustrating.
