I usually see the doctor in a timely manner however, my last visit I waited 50 minutes in the appointment room. I think I was overlooked as being checked in as I could hear the doctor in the attached rooms. I just want to bring this to the offices attention as I value my personal time.
If I could have given 0 stars I would. While the doctors are ok, the administrative staff in the office are pushy and rude. The persona scheduling the appointments for the doctors not only rescheduled my appts FIVE separate times, but on two of the appointments where I required a CAT calcium scoring, and an EKG, they failed to tell me what medication was required that I needed to take the night before the exam to slow my heart rate. On another occasion they told me I was scheduled for both an EKG and a CAT calcium scoring, but when I arrived at their Sun City office, they only had the equipment for the EKG. The person scheduling me didnt even know what tests were required to be made by a third party (Banner). Three day prior to my final appt where I would review the results with the doctor, I rec'd another call to reschedule my appt with a nurse practitioner and via the telephone. The same charges would have applied. Save yourself a lot of aggravation and stay away from AZ Heart Specialists.

I saw Louisse Garcia FNP-C. I came into the office nervous and doubting quality medical care due to some very unpleasant experiences with different Dr's, NP etc. I expexted the same, but knew i needed to see her. I was so pleasantly surpriesed and cared for as a patient . You can see and feel her empathy She is firm, but gentle. Understanding, and i left our visit feeling "finely somebody is listening" By the way , iam 75 years old and do not let that define me. Also, the office staff is friendly, competent and helpful Linda
