I cannot say enough good things about Pulse Cardiovascular and Dr. Ramaiah. I've had significant venous insufficiency for many years, with spider veins, varicose veins, heavy legs, swollen calves, and difficulty walking without fatigue. A prior procedure elsewhere didn't give me good results, and I thought I would just have to live with it. That changed the day I met Dr. Ramaiah. He put me at ease immediately, took extensive time to answer my questions, and never made me feel rushed. My procedure was a complete success, and the improvement has been life-changing. The staff is exceptional, scheduling was smooth, and aftercare is truly second to none. Highly recommend. -- M.C.P.

Even though I've seen Dr Ramaiah and Stephanie before, it was my first time at Pulse. Clean, welcoming, staff is friendly and professional. The ultrasound tech was kind, thorough and concerned for my comfort. As always..Stephanie is the best!

First let me start by saying that Dr vinkatesh Ramaiah has been my vascular surgeon since 2000,I have a chronic intermittent claudication, sever Vascular stenosis and hypertension. I have trusted Dr Ramaiah with my life in numerous procedures with two that were delicate, intricate and life saving and as usual he aced every one. Last week I had to have somewhat of an urgent procedure and the office arranged and expidited the procedure at Pulse Cardiovascular institute, it was refreshing to experience a facility that was state of the art with modern medical equipment and a welcoming warm staff that treated me as if I was the only patient there. Dr Ramaiah (the Mrs. Dr Ramaiah) which was my anesthesiologist was probably the first to make me comfortable enough in the surgical lab, caring, funny and even played the music of my choice. First class experience, my gratitude to all starting with Priya, Paige and the recovery nurse who did not leave my bed side for over two hours, sorry that your name slipped my mind, it's the sedation.

I am truly blessed by being put in the care of Dr Thorpe. Dr Thorpe along with the staff at Pulse are skilled, knowledgeable, personable and remarkable people who now have my upmost trust and respect. Tens years ago my life was turned upside down after suffering a DVT in my thigh. Over the next few years my leg slowly became discolored, covered in ulcers, and in constant pain. The fear of losing my leg became an obsession that led me into constant episodes of depression. My joys of hiking and traveling became a hard battle lost, especially after being forced to quit a great job because of its complications. Over the years Wound Care was a second home. Since no cause of the DVT could be found, Warfin and INR checks were always on my schedule. Over ten years, I have seen over 20 doctors and specialists over issues with my leg. Although I would never try to question any of their actions, it seemed that I gradually got worse not better. It seemed that a round of ablations was always the solution to the problem. We joked that I had more glue in my legs than blood! I regret that five years ago, I didn't follow the advice of one of the cardiologist here in Las Vegas that truthfully admitted that no doctor here in Las Vegas had the intricate skills with veins to help me and suggested that I travel to Phoenix to see Dr Thorpe. At the time I was still working and was seeing several doctors each week so it seemed like an impossibility. That was or probably one of the worst mistakes of my life. It may sound ridiculous, but there's not a single day in the last ten years that my leg didn't rule my day. It was a constant failing effort to keep the swelling down to minimize oozing ulcers and the stinging pain from skin tearing. I was in constant fear that my leg would end up being removed. and I seemed to live in doctor's offices. Honestly life was hell the past ten years. Recently my other leg started to look discolored and another round of ablations were ordered. It was obvious I needed to finally make the trip to Phoenix. From the moment I first contacted Pulse, Bill and Dr Thorpe were the most understanding, personable, and caring people I've ever dealt with in my medical journey. DrThorpe's hands on determination to find the cause of the DVT and figure out how to prevent further damage left me speechless. Never had I had a doctor sit in the ultrasounds or ask any of the hundreds of questions about myself and family. You won't grasp the intensity of her care and dedication until you meet her. No arrogance just a very intelligent person as determined as a detective to solve the crime. At the first two hour visit, she told me that she thought the issue was not in my leg but the blood flow in my abdomen. Something I had never heard before. Vein mapping showed major constriction as she thought. I was scheduled to have a stent put in. Even during the procedure, she moved with the punches as my screwed up veins created a puzzle that she brilliantly solved. She was willing to put me first in every aspect before, during, and after the procedure. So I'm a month out from the procedure, and yes, there is a dramatic difference. No more aching and heaviness and much less swelling. Although the damage has been done to my leg, hopefully this will prevent further deterioration. More dramatically, my mental state has completely changed. I look forward to future treatments on my other leg. Bill was outstanding in orchestrating our visits that included six hour drives and overnight stays. I can't thank him enough. Dr Thorpe personally called me on multiple occasions. Amazing! I have no intention of minimizing the effort of the countless doctors I've seen prior. I understand every human body if different and each responds to different treatments. I do thank God that I met Dr Thorpe, Bill, and the team at Pulse. Today is the first day of the rest of my life! I know what that means now.
