Welcoming concierge and info table staff. Helpful with directions.
Checkin a breeze. Nurse Maddi in Cath lab gave a warm reassuring welcome and explanation of what's to come. Made me comfortable and answered all my questions. Discharge went smoothly and support staff and parking staff were most getting wheeled to car and exiting drop-off.

This was the first visit after being a long time Mayo patient. It is a busy practice and waited 20 minutes after the appointment time. Once seen the nurse was very thorough in making sure all of the historical and current information was correct. The doctor, Dr Moe, was great and spent time offering a new set of eyes on the current care. Very knowledgeable and took the time to make sure questions or concerns were addressed.

This past month, I saw Dr. Bollempolli as a new patient after an ER visit, where the ER physician referred me to Cardiology for follow-up testing. A stress test was ordered because it was clinically necessary. However, the insurance company denied the request, stating the appropriate codes and required clinical documentation were not submitted. They sent the office a letter requesting correct documentation. When I called the clinic to confirm the information would be resubmitted, the staff refused to assist and told me the doctor would call me back. She never did.
Submitting accurate documentation and correct coding is a basic requirement for any cardiology office, and this one completely missed the boat, especially when a test is medically indicated. The lack of follow-through, both by the physician and the office manager ( who seems highly incompetent), prevented my testing from being approved and delayed the evaluation of a potentially urgent cardiac issue. This is very poor in overall care and is a warning not to go to this clinic. There was no sense of patient care at all or clinical thoroughness. This was the first time I've had an insurance company proactively follow up because the provider failed to submit complete documentation and their billing team completely missed the mark.
I will be seeking care elsewhere, where they actually care about patients.

My visit to Honor Health Heart Care was very nice. I did not have to wait long, the medical assistant Julie was absolutely fabulous. She helped me with scheduling test that I needed to take. She helped me with a form, Julie was kind, patient and very easy to talk to. She was absolutely wonderful. Dr. Hani Bollempolli explained everything thoroughly for me, Dr Bollempolli's medical assistant was absolutely wonderful as well. He was so gentle, kind and very patient.

Need to review and improve the check-in process to avoid from happening to other patients. I checked in before the appointment time and waited 30 minutes while others patients came in and get called in.... Especially for echogram.... Imagine if older adult who is waiting but he/she has challenges of getting up from seat would wait even longer. ICARE Values need to revisited!
