I've been a patient of Dr Bhat for several years. He has always been very friendly and takes time to answer all my questions. I am one of those patients that has a list. It helps to do your research and make a list of questions.
The front desk staff has always been friendly and attentive.
I've seen some of the prior reviews and I can honestly say that I have never experienced any of the negative reviews. I have always been treated with respect.

Dr. Bhat.... Shame on you sir. You should not treat people and then neglect them when you change a medication on them and leave them in unstable cardiac conditions. Shame on your call center who takes calls for you. I have never been treated with such unkind and condescending behavior by a professional medical office in my life. Your representative who failed to mute her headset and proceeded to speak to her coworker about me in such a negative and nasty way, needs investigation. That person has no business answering calls from patients in need. I was calm and relaying my situation and frustration in trying to get help from you people, and she had the audacity to tell me my expectations of a medical office were unrealistic and unreasonable. Telling me to calm down and then becoming the most rude and just awful human to another human for calling her out on her disgusting disrespect, tone, and attitude towards me. If you're reading this review, save yourself the trouble I have had, pick one that will treat you with compassion and care.
Update: 5 months later I see Dr. Bhat again today for my scheduled follow up. Dr. Bhat didn't like that I complained to the medical board about him. He "eluded" that some people can be vindictive. He stated a few times too many that in all his 11 years he's never had a complaint. Interesting that there's others here on this review platform stating similar issues with you and your staff.
You know what Dr. Bhat never did throughout all this?? Until today he never followed up to make sure his "system" of care did its job. Instead he defended his inability to properly treat his patient himself or his system, and blamed me for essentially having a medical need while he was on vacation and his "system" broke.
If you Dr changes your medication and you begin to have an adverse reaction to that change, so you call your Dr's office and 24, 36, 48 hours pass, and the staff of the Dr's system don't do anything, that's a breakdown in the system. Now, when the patient calls back to follow up and expresses frustration from being poorly treated by poorly trained and managed staff, that's another breakdown in the system. When the patient talks to the CEO and there's been a a review of a call recording, and a true apology given to the patient for the staff's behavior during a call.... The patient has done nothing wrong.... Yet Dr. Bhat thinks he's immune or outside this system when on vacation... as he should be. This is his system and he should feel assured his patients are getting care. If the system fails though, its on him and his license.... Hence why I contacted the board. You and your system failed and instead of apologizing for that, you are mad I went to the medical board. Don't treat patients if you and your system fail independently or collectively. If you do, be a respectable person and say something like "Sorry"

I'm very disappointed. The nurse falsified my weight and bp, used last years #s, Dr Bhat again rushed me very quickly after coming in 30 mins late. He ignored my statements of pain and squeezing and was just dismissive again. I left without a prescription and Kelly B at the prescription desk refused to help me and treated me the worst I have even been treated and spoken to (and I work in a jail with people that would like to hurt or kill me everyday). I cancelled my stress test and follow up with this office due to all this and won't be back, and they couldn't care less. Frustratingly disappointing.

I do not recommend this MD. I called to schedule an appointment with Dr Bhat for a BP problem. The staff said they would speak to the office manager to see if I could be worked in, rather than waiting 3 1/2 weeks. I called a second time with no response. To make a long disappointing story I ended up in ICU. Training on phones and manager is non existent. Don't waste your time trying to make an appointment with a clinic doesn't communicate.

This doctor is smart, professional, and pays attention to the person he is attending. He has such a nice bedside manner-saved my husbands life when he had a heart attack. I can't recommend him enough.
