CVAM is dedicated to excellent cardiac, peripheral vascular and electrophysiology care. Our goal is to provide you with compassionate patient care and service. Due to the growing number of locations outside of Mesa, CardioVascular Associates of Mesa changed their name to CVAM.

The lack of communication is absolutely horrendous. My pacemaker came out of its pocket within a matter of 7 months and when I had it redone it was done really badly. When I brought up my concerns I was dismissed and told it was just swelling. Swelling is not the size of a golf ball sticking out of your chest and causing sharp burning pain. Due to "no infection" and "conflict with scheduling" I had to deal with the pain for months. When I finally got it out the experience at the hospital was the absolute worst I've ever had in my life. I woke up during the procedure in pain. Afterwards I never saw Dr.Panico, he never TO THIS DAY spoke to me about how it went, what he saw causing the large mass on my chest, or what the outcome was, I didn't even have a follow up scheduled!! The nurses at the heart hospital treated me like a drug addict when I was suffering from a severe migraine I believe from whatever they used to knock me out, which hadn't happened during the other procedures, and they ignored me the rest of the times. I've tried getting some LOA paperwork signed for work from time off taken for that procedure and I keep getting phone calls from cvam saying they did it and my job tells me they don't. With all the communication issues I've had with CVAM, I do NOT recommend this place.

I was initially resentful that Dr. Bell wanted me to have continued care after my last cardiologist told me I was fine. However, over time I have improved more, reduced and modified my limited medication and believe I have received superior care. Thank you Dr. Bell and the rest of your staff!!!

I understand we all have off days so for the sake of all patients that are seen here I hope that my experience was just an "off day." But I went in due to a random onset of potential cardiology symptoms, my primary care has ruled out everything else that could possibly be and sent me here to get further care and to be assessed. I got seen right on time which was great however once I saw Dr. Bell the appointment went downhill very fast. I wasn't allowed time or space to explain any and all of the symptoms I was experiencing without being interrupted. Did not feel understood or just frankly thoroughly examined. I did not get the opportunity to explain the full timeline, and progression of my symptoms before I was shoved out the door to book future appointments and testing. The whole appointment lasted under 5 minutes. I'm just not sure how they can know what testing I need done if they don't know or understand the full picture of what I have been experiencing. I am normally a patient person and tend to give others the benefit of the doubt but I will not be coming back here and have already called my primary care for a different referral elsewhere.

So I had to reschedule an appointment. Called to reschedule but no one answers. I left a message but no call back. I had no way to get through to anyone to reschedule. Once my appointment arrived a day or so late I was spam texted about missing my appointment and later billed for it. No chance I'm paying and CVAM you are fired.
