Yavapai Cardiac Surgery

We were fortunate enough to find an outstanding surgeon when it was discovered I needed a heart bypass. Turns out I needed a triple bypass 10/21/25. Doctor Thompson & his team were all very professional and each and everyone one of them had an excellent bedside maner and explained every step in detail. Dr Thompson deserves a 20 out of 10 rating! The ICU department nurses & staff also deserve a 20 out of 10 rating! I was discharged 10/25/25 and recovering right on track. I can't say enough good about the Doctor's, nurses, staff and the entire hospital.

I can't thank Dr Thompson, PA Jeff Willard enough for the great care I received. His team and the staff at YRMC were amazing. The surgery went off without a hitch. I'm 3 1/2 weeks post op and making good progress.

Dr.Christopher Gullett, MD took care of my Dad recently and I can not rave enough about this doctor. While we met him under very stressful circumstances, he walked us through everything in a very calm and assured manner. He left nothing for us to question and treated us as his own family. When things arrived beyond anyone's control he took action and saved my dads life. Again, he let us know every detail and kept us informed. He was constantly there for questions and not far from my dads bedside. His nursing staff is top notch and attentive. I would highly recommend this doctor for you or your family members care. I personally am for ever grateful for the doctor and his kindness and brilliance. Thank you!

My experience with the surgical team has left me incredibly grateful for their technical skills and action-oriented treatment(s) coupled with their obvious culture of "patient first". Dr. Gullett and his associates not only saved my life, but also helped me to set my focus towards "best outcome" using the things that are within my control post-op. The care afforded me was amazing, from the surgeons to the CVICU, ICU, PCU, nurses, nurse assistants, food service persons, and custodial help. Their care blessed me not only with top notch care, but also with positive feelings and friendliness. I am so glad that as difficult as my ordeal was, my experience found me at YRMC ED, and this fantastic Yavapai Cardiac Surgery team and staff.

Dr. Thompson, Jeffrey Willard and Dr. Vakili performed an excellent surgery on me a few weeks ago. I had no pain, no anguish and the complete procedure was a breeze! I am so grateful to the entire team....including Stephanie in the office. I was truly in great hands! Thank you so much to the entire team!
