This hospital has steadily gone downhill since being folded into dignity. The doctors are overloaded and turning to drugs to keep up their ER shifts. They make bad calls and let it sit on the nurses to take the backlash from the patients who know it's wrong and they are being pushed aside. This hospital's ER is now full of people who may have cared at one time but they have forgotten how to do so. If it requires even a small twitch outside the comfort zone, the patient is not getting treated here. This is sad. Truly sad. There are a few, and I say that with full intent of the word, maybe 3 or 4 doctors left in the network who care enough about their patients to stick it out. Dignity makes sure their doctors don't get paid enough to leave them, once they sign the contract. Many of our older, well enlightened physicians, those who know the full scope of their patients illnesses and their underlying conditions enough that new people coming in had a chance, those well respected pillars of society are gone. Why? They could see dignity for what it is and chose to leave with their own dignity intact. Many of us have sought outside providers and if that is not you yet, you might want to hurry up and make that change. Give our good doctors their due but never allow them to force you to be seen by anyone because they are in network. You can see doctor on your insurance not their preference. And might I add the new unaffiliated hospital is ah-maze-zing. Ex-cell-ant even. Have a great day and once you get away from dignity, I wish you the best mental health as well!

I moved to Prescott Valley almost five months ago. I've been hospitalized twice. The doctors and nurses were very kind and attentive. I was just discharged and I wanted to let them know I appreciate their efforts.

I have to bring some light into the darkness here! And post a truly remarkable experience now twice at this hospital. My three/four year old has visited twice to the ER and pediatric floor of this hospital and each time they have showed such care and love in each step of the process. I have to give shoutouts to a couple of people that each time made our stay amazing! Nurses Grant, Destiny, Jenny, and Diana! Thank you so much for all you did to make our little guy comfortable and cared for you! All of you but especially you guys need a raise as you are the backbone of what made our stays wonderful!!!! You all went above and beyond what I have ever experienced at any of the hospitals I have ever been too. Whether it's the handmade blankets and teddy bear waiting on the bed for a child or the kindness and treasure box you have for them to be able to pick a little toy out of in the hard times and for drinking the medication that tastes yucky. The food was even above average and for letting our little one pick his meal each time is such a treat. He even wanted to come back for his birthday the first time. Dr Smith the on call pediatrician is very nice and knowledgeable. Even when we had to stay an extra day and I didn't feel it was necessarily needed she talked me through it and I felt that she truly had my child's best interests at thought and care! A couple things other then Samantha or Sam all the respiratory specialists need to be taken through a kindness or gentleness class lol being curt or rude with adults may get what you want from them but with children it's not really the way to go. We also had to tell one of the respiratory ladies overnight not to return as she smelled so bad of cigarette smoke and as an asthmatic myself I could barely breathe which is the opposite of what you want from your respiratory therapist or specialist who's job it is to give breathing treatments with the nebulizer. Thanks again everyone that was there and cared for my little guy we truly appreciate you all!!!!

My mother was diverted here by ambulance, and eventually admitted. Let me just say that Nurses were so very kind and compassionate that I was blown away by the commitment and compassion shown to mom. The doctors were very thorough, straightforward, and kind. Even the lady at the gift shop was extremely kind and caring. Thank you to everyone who cared for mom.

My poor friend had to go to the emergency room in Prescott Valley unfortunately, she was treated very poorly and given very poor services. She had staples put into her head. They never even washed the wound and when she went down to Phoenix to get the staples removed he had an infection and he had done such a poor job that the doctor had a hard time removing them. Why is it the YRMC cannot show compassion and consideration to all their guests!
