Sanjoy Bhattacharya, MD, is a cardiac electrophysiologist at the Heart One Associates offices in Phoenix, Peoria, and Buckeye, Arizona. Dr. Bhattacharya has been practicing cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology in the Phoenix area since 2011. He performs advanced ablation for complex rhythm disturbances and specializes in pacemaker and defibrillator implantation. Dr. Bhattacharya completed his Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. He pursued his master's degree in engineering at the University of Vermont, where he worked closely with the Department of Molecular Biology and Biophysics to pursue research interests in muscle physiology.

ALWAYS LATE! I went to this dr 3 times and he was 45-1.5hrs late each visit. This is highly unprofessional and costs the patient money to miss work just to see this doctor. One appointment was so late that I had to leave after taking off several hours of work. He also presented me with incomplete results due to lack of organization and preparedness. It was a waste of my time and I have not gotten any progress with heart issues. I would not recommend this as a doctor.
I'm sure there are many fine cardiologists in the area, but I must say, Dr B is certainly easy to work with. If you have a question, he'll give you the answer. We have the right mix of meds to keep me going, so I'm a happy camper. The rest of the practice needs some help. The wait can be long - I understand that doctors can get behind. I offer to make my copay at the time of visit, but they say I don't have a copay - and yet, after a couple months, I receive a bill for it. The only part I really grumble about is their patient portal. Completely useless. You can't make an appointment or pay your bills electronically! One thing that is nice, however, is the ability to make video appointments. That's something that can save time and gas money! It would be nice if the office was closer, but I like working with Dr B.
Dr. Bhattacharya has always taken time to listen and discuss my questions about my health. I don't feel rushed with my visits. Have always had confidence in his handling of my medications. I have had 1 successful ablation with him and Dr. Wu. Office staff is efficient and friendly. Appointments are easy to schedule.
Dr Bhattacharya (Dr B. :) is my mothers Heart Specialist and has been since 2013. In that time (including our most recent visit) Dr. B. has been professional yet so kind to my mother, she is 90 years old. He always has a warm greeting and makes sure all of our concerns and questions are taken care of. During one visit the staff was going to have my mother see someone else but after I asked them to please let him know my mother was not comfortable seeing anyone but him he made that happen. We so appreciate the staff and specialist at Heart One associates.
He is good at what he does and really knows his work. He came highly recommended by another doctor. I am thankful that he got to the bottom of my issues and saved my life. Only gave four stars due to the wait times in the office to be seen.
